Less Black Friday, More Online This Holiday Shopping Season

Accenture reveals results from 11th Annual Holiday Shopping Survey.

U.S. consumers are less inclined to shop on traditional peak holiday shopping days this year and more likely to search for and buy the best bargains online than in stores, according to results of Accenture’s 11th Annual Holiday Shopping Survey.   The online survey found that slightly more than half (52%) of respondents said they are less likely to shop on Black Friday this year, with nearly the same number (50%) less likely to shop on Thanksgiving and 42% less likely to shop on Cyber Monday. ...
